探新化大坑附近的小山，主角是三等大坑尾山，以及順探中興林場的周邊不用錢的入口。因為新化離台南很近，於是下午兩點多才出門。大坑尾山就是從新化過了虎頭埤、中興林場的南168鄉道，一直到過了大坑國小之後，注意右岔路往某某宮，如果這時還直行就會到左鎮草山月世界去了
